His work has featured in magazines, children's books and ad campaigns, both nationally and internationally. He regularly exhibits his paintings at the Flagstaff Gallery in Devonport, many of which now adorn walls in Auckland, Melbourne, Finland, Malta and London, and often brings his talents to collaborative projects with his brothers Matthew and Luke. Matthew Williamson was born and raised in Devonport, Auckland. He followed an early career path that involved surfing and laboring but moved on to become a graphic designer and magazine art director. For the last twenty-two years, Matthew has worked with his brothers, Luke and Fraser, in the areas of design and publishing. Matthew now lives just outside Warkworth, north of Auckland, with his wife Erena and their two children, Miles and Moana. He runs Halcyon Design with brother Luke and when he's not at work or operating as a child taxi service, enjoys the aquatic and rural pleasures of the area.
