He Puawai, A Natural History of New Zealand Flowers by Emeritus Professor of Botany Philip Garnock Jones won the Judith Binney Prize for Best First Book, Illustrated Non-Fiction, at the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.

It is a stunning book documenting 100 of the at least 2200 native flowers we have in New Zealand.
