Listen: Lawrence Patchett on 'Have This Heart'

What does it look like when men are trying to do better - as partners, brothers, friends, or just as ordinary people?

And what happens when they want to change, but don’t always have the language - or the tools - to know how?

Those tensions sit at the heart of Lawrence Patchett’s new short story collection, Have This Heart. Later this month, he will speak with author Tīhema Baker at the Nelson Arts Festival for a conversation about fatherhood and masculinity. Tonight though, he joined Emile Donovan live from the RNZ Christchurch studio.
