Written across the years of 2017 and 2018 while living in the Motueka region of the Tasman District Council, The Tasman Journey by W.F. Stubbs features deeply wrought poetry exploring the loss of friendships, local cafe life, finding a way through depression and suicidal thoughts, and coming out the other side while living from his car on the side of the Motueka River.
