After the accident, the whole world is against Tim. Everything he touches turns to dirt. Now at 40, he's homeless, broke, and only has one place to drink. It feels like the only way up is further down. When Tim receives a random text message from his uncle, he has some serious decisions to make. Kevin, an ageing dreamer and the eccentric Director of the Tall Tree Theatre Company, has a wild plan and he is going to do it, come hell or high jinks! He has stumbled upon an opportunity to showcase his mates' talents. Armed with a questionable script they believe is Hollywood-worthy and a rusty steed of a van to take the troupe across New Zealand, they're determined to make it work - no matter the odds. When old school bullies resurface with a rival show, each performer must dig deep to keep the tour alive. Facing mishaps, strained friendships, the challenge of self-doubt, and even sabotage, this motley crew must band together to prove that even the unlikeliest dreams are worth fighting for.
