November 1918. Germany is defeated. Fury, cast in resentment, stands beside every German. Chaos governs the streets.Despite the confusion, Thomas and Lilli Schroeder settle in Munich with hopes for a peaceful and prosperous life for their young family.

After exhaustively researching both Hitler and the Nazi Party, Thomas sets himself on a dangerous path of resistance: he joins the Nazi Party.
