Regaining a Nation: Equality and Democracy

The previous warnings of the destruction of democracy given by Dr. John Robinson in He Puapua, Blueprint for Breaking up New Zealand (2021) have become reality in 2022. Government policy of co-governance has moved rapidly towards complete separation into two races with very different rights of citizenship. This book is a reminder of the successful building of this nation which was a co-operative effort by so many from all parts of the world, coming together as one people. The values of that egalitarian society, in which everyone can have a fair go, need to be recovered. This is a big challenge, which will require a citizens’ counter-revolution to overturn the divisive ideology that has come to direct twenty-first century New Zealand.
