A Niu Dawn collects creative responses by Pasifika visual artists to the traumatic events of the Dawn Raids in 1970s New Zealand. The resulting work is vital and diverse, and spans the generations from over the
past 50 years--honouring the past, it is a snapshot of the contemporary Pacific arts landscape in Aotearoa and a beacon of what's to come.
