Anna Bloomfield is a mother of three and lawyer who lives in Wellington, New Zealand. Her first book, Chalk, Cheese and a Baby (ISBN 9780473599843) was a collection of light-hearted and relatable poems inspired by her experiences of living through COVID-19 lockdown with her children. It was illustrated by Rebecca Gibbs and published in 2021. Not long after that, Anna's family experienced the events that inspired her second book, The Knobbly Ball, and it has been bouncing around in her head ever since.
