'For too long, cats have been maligned as lazy so-and-sos who think they're better than us . . . but it turns out the stereotype is wildly unfair. From Invercargill to Kaitaia, there are cats on the tools in every corner of the country.'Starting in the deep south and scooting all the way up - a bit like a cat scaling a Christmas tree - Cats with Jobs takes you on a road trip to meet just some of the hard-working cats of Aotearoa New Zealand. From community constables and school mascots through to therapy assistants and winery floofs with their own vintage named after them, these fluffballs are here to bust the myth that cats are idle creatures. Written with warmth, wit and just the right number of cat puns, this is a book for the cat lover in your life.
