Short | Poto (Massey University Press) features 100 stories by 100 New Zealand writers. Short, short stories, sometimes known as flash fiction or microfiction, are one of the trickiest forms to write. In this collection , a range of New Zealand writers, both well known and emerging, deliver emotionally charged stories that punch well above their weight and length. Each story is then carefully translated into te reo Māori, creating a fully bilingual anthology. Editors Kiri Piahana-Wong and Michelle Elvy talk with Emile Donovan about the book.
