Jiaqiao Liu, a poet from Shandong, China, who grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and has an MA in creative writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters, speaks to Mark Amery about his debut collection, which explores to telenoid robotic communication devices in resthomes and unwanted translation in Wechat, amongst other topics.
