Auckland writer John Prins has been described as a bold new voice in New Zealand fiction - with the release of his debut novel Pastoral Care. The New Zealand Listener voted it in their Top 100 books of 2025. It's a collection of nine stories, centred on daily life in 21st century Aotearoa New Zealand.
