Book Launch | Innovation in Action by Walsh and Broderick
Join us for an interactive evening with DUCTRI extraordinaires Dr Christian Walsh and Vaughan Broderick, UC MBA alumnus, as they launch their new book, Innovation in Action.
You will take part in a hands-on innovation activity, hear the stories behind the book, and connect with fellow alumni and current MBA ākonga over ideas, conversation and a few “aha!” moments.
We will also hear from MBA alumni and Script Sense founders Kieran Erasmuson and Puneet Saini about how they have used Design Thinking not simply as a workshop tool, but as the operational core of their business. They will share how it shaped the way they understood the problem, built their team and defined their approach to testing.
If you completed your MBA before 2020, this is your chance to learn about DUCTRI (pronounced duck-tree), a proven, human‑centred innovation process. And for those of you who are familiar with DUCTRI, come along to hear about some brand new tools in the toolkit.
Expect practical insights, lively conversation and world-class thinking from within our own alumni community.
Books will be available to purchase and have signed on the night (and in true kiwi fashion, we’ll do our best to keep our newly famous Christian and Vaughan humble!).
