No prizes for guessing which music group Pātea author Airana Ngarewa wants to listen to on a road trip with Anna.

The nephew of Te Pāti Māori co-leader MP Debbie Ngarewa-Packer published his first novel The Bone Tree earlier this year.

But does Debbie or his other well known aunt — Spotswood College principal Nicola Ngarewa — make the back seat for this road trip? Airana joins RNZ’s Anna Thomas for our summer road trip.
