Author Biography: Owned by Goodman Fielder, Edmonds (author) is one of New Zealand's most iconic and loved brands, one that is synonymous with Kiwi home cooking and baking. For over 140 years, Edmonds has been trusted by generations of New Zealand bakers and cooks to deliver trusted, loved recipes and quality products and ingredients. Today the Edmonds product range has grown to include more than 60 products with a range of Cookbooks, Baking Ingredients, Flour, Raising Agents, Yeasts, Baking Mixes, Bread Mixes, Cake Mixes and Pancake Mixes.
Born and raised in Patea, Airana Ngarewa (Ngati Ruanui, Ngarauru, Ngaruahine) writes about Maori affairs for The Spinoff. His writing has also been published by RNZ, NZ Herald, Newsroom and Landfall. Dr. Emma Espiner (Ngati Tukorehe, Ngati Porou) is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and political commentator. Her podcast on Maori health equity, Getting Better- A Year in the Life of a Maori Medical Student (RNZ/Bird of Paradise Productions) won the Voyager Best Narrative Podcast of the Year in 2021. In 2020 she won the Opinion Writer of the Year at the Voyager media awards, and her work has featured at newsroom.co.nz, stuff.co.nz, the Guardian, the NZ Herald and in academic and literary journals and books. Espiner lives in Auckland, where she works at Middlemore Hospital as a surgical registrar. The memoir There's a Cure for This is her first book.

MARK AMERY is a writer, producer, curator and facilitator working across the public arts and media, with a focus on new forms of participation. Co-founder of Letting Space, Paekakariki.nz and Paekakariki 88.2FM, Amery works at Radio New Zealand and as a contributing arts editor for the Dominion-Post. He is a member of the Wellington City Council Public Art Panel and recently completed a public art project with Wellington social housing residents. AMBER CLAUSNER is a British artist, writer and events co-ordinator who lives in Te Whanganui-a-tara Wellington, Aotearoa, where she is a facilitator at an artist-run space and a member of Shared Lines Collaborative. Her art practice investigates human connection to the non-human world. SOPHIE JERRAM works with artists and communities between university, government and community roles. Her research focuses on how shared space and time are important actors in community landscapes.
