Jessica-Rose Weaver

Jessica-Rose Weaver is an author and artist from Aotearoa New Zealand. She is one of seven siblings and despite a somewhat dysfunctional upbringing she credits her family, especially her siblings, as a key part of who she is today. She writes fiction inspired by real life, exploring emotional truth and lived experiences. Her hope is that her stories allow readers to step into her characters shoes and feel something real in the process. She’s a solo mum who enjoys the simple things, a good laugh, a hot cuppa and the quiet moments in between life’s noise. Her quote to live by is: perhaps the place where survival ends and life begins in found within a dream.
