Maria Semprericca

Maria Nazarova (Semprericca) was born in the communist Soviet Union in 1969, and moved to Italy at nineteen years old and became an Italian citizen. After separating from her first husband in 1996, she struggled through adversity to support herself and her two children. Through hard work, determination, and without qualifications, she became sought after as one of Italy's leading pattern-makers for all the top clothing fashion designers. After a seven-year marriage, she separated from her second husband in 2010, and again, she was alone, miserable, and weighed 110kg (242 lbs). With the burden of responsibilities sitting heavily on her shoulders and with no prospects for a happy future, she made a promise to God that if her life could change for the better, she would dedicate herself to helping women like her.Maria dramatically changed her life, lost 50kg (110 lbs) in weight, and to honour her promise, wrote her first book, 'The First Law of Paradise'. In 2015 she met her current partner and began a new life in Cyprus, where she still lives and left her fashion industry career behind. Continuing to write, she is a qualified life coach and works in the field of Neurographia, which creates mind and body connections through a combination of art and psychology, and she continues to fulfil her promise by helping women everywhere.
