Dr Cate Howell is a GP, therapist, educator and author. Cate currently works as a General Practitioner with Defence, and also has a private practice focusing on mental health and various teaching activities. Alex Barnard is an educator and musician with a postgraduate degree in psychology. Alex has been passionate about mental health and wellbeing since he was a teenager, especially anxiety and depression prevention and intervention. He hopes to study Music Therapy to help people through music.
Tony Howell joined the New Zealand Army as a Regular Force Cadet at the age of sixteen, graduating as a qualified Instructor All Arms in the Infantry Corps. In 1963, he attended the Portsea Officer Cadet School, graduating as a 2nd Lieutenant after 12 months. As well as serving as a Senior Instructor at the School of Infantry, Tony served in 1 RNZIR as a Platoon Commander during the Borneo Confrontation and in Vietnam with V2 Company, as the Mortar Platoon Commander in the rank of Captain and, later, as a Company Commander in the rank of Major. After several staff appointments, he commanded the NZ Special Air Service for four years in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After 28 years of distinguished service, Tony resigned to create his own Scuba diving business, a passion he still enjoys.

Craig Hoyle grew up in Invercargill within the New Zealand Exclusive Brethren. Separated from public society, he attended Brethren-only schooling and worked in his family's tyre shop. After facing interrogations and conversion therapy for his sexuality, he was excommunicated from the Brethren and lost his family in 2009. Today he is a news director for the Sunday Star-Times. He has worked for newsrooms such as TV3 and RadioLive, and behind the scenes on current affairs shows including 60 Minutes and 3rd Degree. He lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
Maria is a journalist who's penned and edited everything from New Zealand home interior features to UK tabloid newspaper horoscopes (once rewriting the Daily Mirror's outlook for Sagittarius to read 'Take a female friend out to dinner' and sending it to a Sagittarian she fancied). She's written for many titles including NEXT, Sunday magazine, WOMAN, North & South and The Spinoff.

Ulrich Hub trained as an actor and now lives in Berlin, Germany. He works as a director for stage and writes plays, screenplays and children's books, which have won numerous awards. J'rg M�hle lives in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He has written and illustrated many bestselling children's books for all ages, including picture books, junior fiction, and the widely acclaimed Tickle My Ears series of board books.

Peter Hubscher is a retired winemaker and businessman who was born in Auckland and worked in the wine industry for nearly forty years. He now runs the Tironui Music Trust and lives in the Hawke’s Bay with his wife, Pam.
