Sydney has a love of writing passed down to her by her mother, although if still alive, she'd be smacking Syd across the back of the head given the direction some of her writing has taken. Irreverent, cutting and with humor that is very dark in places, it is not for the faint of heart. After twenty years in advertising, she decided it was time to put all those stress-induced nightmares to better use by including them in her writing. She might also take perverse delight in eviscerating a few old bosses along the way. Pet hates include reality television and dieting.
Anne Hunter is a radiographer with a love nature and exploring the outdoors. She is currently working to establish forest on a block of land in north Canterbury. She has a special fascination with Antarctica, which she has visited twice, and has a Graduate Certificate in Antarctic Studies. She has written a book on New Zealand birds, One Little Fantail.
Eirlys Hunter is the author of seven children’s books as well as a novel and short stories for adults, and has taught children’s writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.
