Adrienne Jansen writes poetry, fiction and non-fiction for both adults and children. She’s published several collections of poetry, and is the co-founder of Landing Press, a small Wellington publisher of poetry that many people can enjoy. She lives at Titahi Bay, north of Wellington.
In 2011 the late Dr Guy Jansen (1935-2019) was awarded a MNZM for services to music. He was a renowned music educator and choral musician, and in 1979 founded the New Zealand Youth Choir - reputed to be the first national youth choir in the world.

Darren Jarrett has carved out a serious name for himself in New Zealand’s hospitality scene. He is the owner of multiple Auckland bakeries, but it's his St Heliers store, Ashby Pies, that’s earned cult status. Blending his passion for the NZ Warriors and epic pies, Darren has turned Ashby into a must visit destination bakery.
Karen Jarvis is a painter and photographer, and the author of three biographies and a children's book. She has worked in the arts with children, neurodiverse adults and seniors as an arts facilitator, performer and creative caregiver.
