Pat started to renew his love of drawing after two brain surgeries. Starting out initially his drawings could be described as "hopeful" at best. As time progressed,so too did his ability to draw more complex drawings. He learnt through perseverance that he could create new neuropaths in his brain. Introducing Matt... The opportunity came about with an offer to work on the book with Pat and after only a small amount of consideration I decided to jump on board and began learning about the story and the characters. Matt has added value to the journey of the creation of the Zeelows through helping with touch typing of the story line and is responsible for marketing and promotion through performances.
Glennis Mafi (MB ChB, FRNZCGP) was a doctor for 45 years, most of them in general practice in Tonga and Auckland. She retired in November 2019. She has both academic and personal experience of dementia, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Geriatrics and helping to care for her father through his dementia. She is married to Manu and they have four married children and twelve grandchildren.

Bruce Mahalski is a Dunedin artist, known for his illustration, street murals, and sculpture incorporating animal bones. He is founder and director of the Dunedin Museum of Natural Mystery, a private museum of natural history and ethnographic objects and curios.
