TE ATAAKURA PEWHAIRANGI Ngati Porou was brought up in te ao Maori, and her home language was and still is te reo Maori. A product of kohanga reo, kura kaupapa Maori and wharekura, she not only loves her language but also understands the responsibility as a fluent native speaker and writer to further promote te reo Maori. She has worked extensively in television, and has MC'd various regional and national events such as the secondary schools kapa haka competition, Hauora Unleashed and Manu Korero national speech competition. A former senior tutor teaching te reo Maori and cultural competency at Massey University, she is now the Maori Student Recruitment Advisor at the university.
Claire Plaisted was born and brought up in Cheshire, England. Today she is living in New Zealand with husband and three children and loving it. Claire is a Family History Researcher turned writer and self publisher. Claire is a prolific writer of many different genre's. Adult Romance, Regency, Detective, Erotic, Young Adult, Sci-fi, Paranormal, Thriller, and Young Children's adventure stories with a learning curve. Some of these are yet to be published. Claire also helps other Indie Authors get there books online by formatting them into eBooks or Print. Sharing all book on social media, local newspapers and bookstores.
Born in England Christine spent her early working life in Europe, mastered the French language and served for sixteen years as a missionary in West Africa. After moving to New Zealand she turned her attention to the struggling nation of East Timor which she has visited eighteen times. Her driving passions are living simply, caring for the poor, helping people become Christians and encouraging them to explore global mission.

The author, American by birth, New Zealander by choice; has lived in NZ since January 1971. He gained an MSc degree in Geology from Victoria University which taught him how to read the history of the earth. In recent years his reading of history has advanced to human times. He has a particular interest in alternative histories that might develop from seemingly trivial changes to actual historical events. He has a special interest in the history of the first half of the 20th century.
Frances Plumpton has spent endless summers wandering Huia beach on the Manukau Harbour with her children and grandchildren. Frances has had a long career as a children's librarian, and is well known as an ardent advocate for New Zealand children's literature. She is a founder member of Storylines Trust Te Whare Waituhi Tamariki o Aotearoa and now manages Frances Plumpton Literary Agency.
