Raukura Turei (Ngā Rauru Kītahi, Taranaki, Ngāti Pāoa, Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki) was born in 1987 in Tāmaki Makaurau, where she also lives and works with her partner Moko and two daughters. She received her Masters of Architecture (Prof) from the University of Auckland in 2011 and registered as an Architect with the NZRAB in 2015.
