Calanthe is a fantasy/sci fi romance author from Aotearoa New Zealand. She writes romantic books that balance exciting adventure or tense situations with the quieter moments of life. Her stories usually have magic, almost always have cooking or gardening, and definitely always have sweet romances that, no matter the heat level, are comforting, like a snuggly blanket and a mug of hot chocolate on a rainy day. The world has been a bit rough on all of us lately. We all deserve a comforting read every now and then.
Simone trained as a radiotherapist at Auckland hospital. She has a passion for writing books for chronically ill mothers. She describes it this way, "I knew a lot about chronic illness from my years working in radiotherapy, but when I developed Crohn's disease I got the lived experience. Going on drugs like azathiprine (imran) and prednisone opened my eyes to the resources that were needed." Jasmine is a graphic designer and illustrator. This is her first venture into children's illustration. You can find Jasmine's work online at www.Behance.net and various social platforms.
